kitchen Diner Project
After years of having a dining room that was used only once a year at Christmas and as an entrance into and out of the conservatory I decided on a kitchen diner! But then who to get to do the work and all the jobs needed to achieve my dreams? The very thought of organising a new kitchen and all the trades needed! Just thinking about it had put me off for years and was now stressing me out!!
Then I found JW Building Services. Jordon called round to my home and talked through what I wanted and everything I needed from Structural Engineer, building regulations, RSJ’s, building work, labourers, plastering, joiner to fit new kitchen, electrician, plumber and skips, and any issues that might arise and we had a few with it being a old house. His team dealt with everything with no fuss nothing was a problem. I also had a few additional requests along the way. New banister and spindles, and storage under stairs. New flooring and a new entrance into the living room and new doors upstairs and downstairs they also created a new cupboard to hide the electrical consumer box to match my room design. Nothing was a problem for Jordon and his team not forgetting Robyn in the office who kept in touch with me regularly on progress and stages of the work. I would 100% recommend JW Building Services to anyone looking for a builder for any job small or big or a project nothing is to much for Jordon and his team.
So if you are like myself and you are looking for a builder to take away the worry and stress give JW Building Services a ring.

I was recommended JW and his company also came up on some local searches and Facebook etc. After meeting a few contractors he was by far the most professional and knowledgeable and I choose his company for a quite tricky structural alteration and refurbishment project within a grade II listed building on the seafront in Saltburn.

He understood the scope and specific restraints of the projects and priced and delivered all works to a very high standard within programme for a very fair price.

I was away with work through most of the works and Jordan was always available for updates and to resolve any issues that you would expect to find on a tricky project. There were items I added to the scope that were priced fairly. Some items were excluded in his initial price but priced on day rate as that couldn’t be fully known - the end price for these was fair and less than my allowances.

All of his tradesmen were good quality and I had no worries at all of them being there carrying out the work. He also liaised with the kitchen company’s so that installation happened without any issues.

JW building services was the first quote we had from many, and they were absolutley unmatched on price. Decided to go with the quote, the work the team delivered was brilliant, end of every day the site was left very very tidy considering it was a building site, with ourselves having pets, zero worries, everything discussed was delivered. After a difficult year for my mum after losing her husband, she decided to be brave and refurbish the house. Everyone had told her, the house will always have damp, it's because it's built on underground streams. However, I pointed out that technology moves on, so she agreed for me to do some research on builders. I found JW Builders by checking all the reviews I could possibly find. I used Google, I used Bing I was not going to be had by fake reviews! From my first contact with Robyn, I could not have been more delighted. She responded when she said she would. Jordan came out when she said he would to do the quote. We happily decided that we would get the work done with Jordan and his team. Although the work started with the damp, mum decided it was now or never so decided to do more work! (Quite a lot to be frank!!! in for a penny....) The list ended up extensive!! My mum and I have been delighted with every part of the work. The team are so lovely. My mum had moved out and was living next door whilst the work was done however, she loved every tradesman that entered the house. She could not believe that they could be all so polite and tidy!! The house is now damp free, it looks stunning, and my mum could not be any happier with the results. There was not one area of the house that was untouched by the team and every part is done with absolute precision. We had a problem with water getting in via chimney. We had a couple of builders try and fail to fix the problem. Jordan fixed the problem which he found straight away. I have had Jordan and his team work at my house several times for driveway and small extension. The work and attention to detail is second to none. The whole team take pride in the job and nothing is too much trouble.

Jordan is a great guy to work with and an excellent builder. We have used him on a lot of our projects. He started with a full property re-furb. All walls stripped back to brick, new walls built and all plastered. 1st and second fix of all bathrooms and kitchen. This property has been running now for 4 years without problems.
He is very knowledgable and helped us start in tbe property business.
More recently he did a kitchen extension and extra bathroom. Everything went as planned and has been in use, without issue, for about a year now.

I would highly recommend Jordan and the team at JW Building. We have had to have my Mum’s house deshaled. Unfortunately the first company we got in, did a terrible job.
So basically we had to start from scratch and get JW Building in to redo the work.
Jordan and his team have been wonderful. They have fully explained what needed to be done, have been happy to walk round with us to show us what they are doing. They have taken photos of what they are doing and videos to show us.
They have at all times been polite and friendly and done their utmost to accommodate us.

Jordan and the team have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish of our new kitchen extension.
Building works have been carried out to a very high standard and nothing has been overlooked or any short cuts taken. Time was taken at the end of each day to make sure they left the place in a tidy and safe condition which was very appreciated due to us having very curious 5 and 1 year olds that tried their hardest to check in on what changed at the end of each day.

We chose Jordan and the team at JW Building Services as from the very start his quote offered us the most clarity and itemised account of what we were paying for in his breakdown against others we received. He shown true professionalism and knowledge from the onset and throughout the entire extension project as did all his team who were involved. Jordan was liaising with the building inspector and structural engineer and keeping us updated as to the progress of the works. He would also be in touch to query some key points before decisions were finalised so we both understood what was to happen. Even when some slight alterations and suggestions were mate to the roof section and bifold’s during the build, nothing was a problem and the team pulled out all the stops to make it happen.

Overall we couldn’t be happier with the works completed and look forward to having our new kitchen installed.

I would definitely recommend them and would 100% use them again in future for any building works needed, and have also recently recommended them to family and friends who are thinking of having an extension.

Friends told me about this company word of mouth is best I would highly recommend Jordan and his team's, my sitting room front and rear walls needed taking back to brick including the ceiling due to water damage, these where then re boarded and plastered throughout. Jordan said it will be very dusty and dirty job when I told him I have COPD we suggested he carried the works out whilst we were on holiday for 2 weeks. When we got home everything was completed even the new plaster on ceiling and walls where emulsioned and everything clean and tidy and back in place, we were extremely pleased with the professional results, the whole feamw worked very hard and we're trustworthy, caring and thoughtful. Young lad, young team I thought I’d give them a chance. They were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too difficult for him and his team. I contacted JW building services because I needed two walls fully repointing, and some mortar repairs to a sloping tiled roof. Jordan visited promptly, his quote was very competitive, and I agreed to proceed with the job on the basis of it starting later in the year.
The date was rearranged a couple of times, going back about 6 weeks, and then coming back forwards by two weeks. Not a problem, and Robyn kept me informed. As a result, the work was done in its entirety while we were on holiday. (Not a bad thing considering the dust that grinding out for repointing generates!) Jordan and the team were happy to work in our absence, and got on with the job, establishing good relations with the neighbours and a friend who kept an eye on the house in our absence. After a week, Jordan sent me a video showing the brickwork ground out in preparation, a nice touch, and very helpful in building confidence that the job was being done well.
We arrived home to the job completed, and the site generally well cleaned up considering the rather messy nature of pointing. (I did have to unblock a number of drains however). Jordan came round for a final inspection with me a few days later, and refitted a drain pipe that had been missed, and replaced the outside electric box which had been damaged. In all, a very satisfactory piece of work, and I recommend JW Building Services for similar jobs.

These guys were recommended to me by a friend for the work that they had done for him previously. What he didn't say was how professional they are, how focused they are on detail of their work and (most importantly) how much they are willing to do above and beyond the original project spec. They have something vital that other builders don't, customer service skills. The work was of the highest standard and the full company couldn't have been more accommodating when we unearthed issues on the house while doing the renovating. Adam has been brilliant throughout the entire project and I could not sing the full teams praises enough. Jordan, the team are a credit to you!

Jordan has completed extensive building work on the ground floor of our new house (older property). From start to finish the experience with Jordan and his team has been nothing short of first class. Jordan himself visited the house on a number of occasions prior to the commencement of works to ensure we were all on the same page in terms of what needed to be done. I used this company for some work on my home and the service was excellent. Normally when you get this type of work done, there are always some niggles but there wasn’t anything at all that was too much trouble and I have to say, they were the tidiest builders I have ever seen, even my neighbours commented on how they cleaned up after themselves. As they are so professional, you may have to wait to get the work done, but they were definitely worth the wait and if I require any further building work, I will use this company.

I had a several jobs completed by this company which included a porch construction, a driveway laid and extended and a perimeter garden wall built along with several smaller jobs such as a fibre glass garage roof. I have used several builders in the past and this company were by far the best I have used. They turned up when they said they would and were exceptionally tidy when they’d finished at the end of the day, cleaning up after themselves. They even cleaned along the street one day when a delivery wagon had trailed mud along the road surface. Jordan consulted with me on a regular basis and I would describe him as a perfectionist which is exactly what you want when carrying out this type of work. Nothing was too much trouble.
